GurgaonFirst’s inaugural conference — the event that started it all. 150 delegates attended from Resident Welfare Associations, corporates, citizen and business associations, and residents of Gurgaon. Dignitaries included Shri Rao Dan Singh (Minister of State, Town & Country Planning/Education), Dr Praveen Kumar (HUDA Administrator), and Nisha Singh (Councillor, MCG). Senior heads from Tata Delhi Distribution, Artemis, Rapid Metro, KPMG, Power Grid Corporation, Oracle, Schneider Electric, and ITC Group participated as speakers. The one-day conference focused on holistic city development, infrastructure, governance, sustainability, and citizen participation. GurgaonFirst’s second workshop brought Gurgaon authorities, residents, corporates, road sector companies, and NGOs together at The Palms, Sushant Lok-I, Gurgaon. Over 90 participants attended. Traffic had been identified as one of the most serious issues facing Gurgaon — with inbound and outbound volumes having grown manifold, causing perpetual jams on key intersections. The workshop deliberated on finding integrated and sustainable approaches to manage traffic and transportation, including seamless public transport integration and citizen-level solutions. Held at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon, this landmark workshop brought RWAs, citizen forums, and NGOs together to understand what fresh initiatives were needed to make Gurgaon safer for women — in public spaces, transport, the workplace, and urban villages. Gurgaon First, with Gurgaon Renewal Mission, hosted this workshop to address Gurgaon's high power tariffs and unreliable grid supply. Speakers from the Ministry of Power, distribution and transmission companies, and solar firms joined RWAs, industrial users and NGOs to explore electricity trading, smart grids, and solar promotion as ways to improve the city's power scenario.

A Women’s Day celebration and dialogue exploring the joys and challenges of women’s lives in Gurgaon. Participants shared stories, discussed barriers, and envisioned what a truly woman-friendly Gurgaon would look like — in public spaces, at work, and at home.
