Shubhra Puri Arora founded GurgaonFirst in 2012 out of a conviction that Gurugram’s citizens deserved a credible, independent voice on the issues shaping their city. Over the following decade she built the platform into one of the NCR’s most trusted civic intelligence hubs — producing handbooks, organising workshops, convening expert panels, and holding local government accountable on air quality, water, waste, and women’s safety.
Beyond her civic work, Shubhra is a singer-songwriter whose Music for a Cause initiative uses original compositions to raise awareness about the Aravallis, Gurugram’s air and water crises, and the spirit of volunteerism. She holds a POSH Act practitioner certification and has trained hundreds of ICC members and HR professionals across Gurugram’s corporate sector.
